Well, it's been over a year since my last email; you may or may not know that we moved 4 times in about 8 months, and finally settled in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley in April of this year. It feels good to be putting down roots, both metaphorically and physically speaking; and I can feel that this new home of ours is magic. Even though we are still unpacking, living amongst the Coastal Oaks, Sagebrush, Manzanita, Coyote Bush and other California native plants is healing on so many levels. We moved here so that we can soothe our nervous systems, have peace and space and we are working on creating a beautiful ranchita (and event space!) for people to visit, camp and enjoy. More about that at the bottom of this email!

Slowing down and tending to our sacred heart.
This inner knowing -- that you are and always have been a spiritual warrior. Not with force -- but a warrior for peace, love and understanding. This is your true nature. This is your heart within the heart.
We have built up walls around us. Inside us, within and without, to keep others out, and to keep yourself safe. You need to let down these walls, and show your tenderness. Show your softness, your vulnerability doesn't make you weak; instead it makes you stronger. Believing in yourself, your gifts, your presence: knowing that you are here for a very special purpose. This is what we want you to understand and know. Integrate, integrate, integrate. Validate, validate, validate.
If you cannot self actualize, what are you attempting to do with all of your "things" you keep for yourself? Why are you holding onto dear life to defend your views? We all come from source, from the same light. The contrast is here to show you and reflect back your true sense: you are a being of light, who has come here to experience what is is to be alive this time, this time around, what does it feel like this time?
Getting quiet, listening. You do not need to understand. You just need to start to listen. This is all we ask for.
